The Baltimore Ravens may have been targeting to bring back Hollywood Brown, but he has now joined an NFC contender.

The Baltimore Ravens need help at wide receiver, and there were plenty of reports connecting the team to Hollywood Brown. Brown played for the team from 2019 to 2021, and more recently was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown was also being recruited by quarterback Lamar Jackson, who posted the receiver on his Instagram story and commented on posts about bringing back the speedster. That will not come to pass, as the pass catcher is joining the Philadelphia Eagles.

Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Brown is joining the Eagles on a deal worth up to $6.5 million.

Brown picked up 587 yards and five touchdowns with the Chiefs in 2025. He was meant to be the premier pass catcher for the team in 2024, but a sternoclavicular injury led to him missing the majority of the regular season.

Initially, Brown was slated not to play again in 2024, but he returned in the final two weeks of the regular season and into the playoffs.

With the Chiefs struggling mightily in 2025, Brown still managed to carve out a significant role.

Back when Brown was on the Ravens, he secured his only 1,000 receiving yards season in 2021, when he secured 1,008 yards and six touchdowns. Through three seasons as a member of the Baltimore team, he brought in 2,361 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Despite having a breakout season with the Ravens, Brown revealed he was unhappy with how he was utilized offensively, and he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals to reunite with quarterback Kyler Murray in 2022.

Brown has yet to match the success he had in Baltimore, but he may have emerged as a solid partner next to Zay Flowers. Now, he will be another pass catcher for the Eagles.

What makes this signing more curious is whether or not it will lead the Eagles to now trade A.J. Brown, who has been the subject of trade talks for months.

A.J.  could be targeted by the Ravens, but general manager Eric DeCosta did state that bigger splash signings and trades are unlikely to happen following the acquisition of Trey Hendrickson.

Still, if A.J. is available at a respectable price for the Ravens, he is a player that should be heavily considered. His ability would be huge to partner with Jackson and Flowers.

For now, the Ravens will have to move on from being able to bring Hollywood back into the fold.
