The Baltimore Ravens have released their inactives list for the Cincinnati Bengals matchup.
The Baltimore Ravens are set to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the team will be without multiple players.
It was already established that quarterback Lamar Jackson would be out due to his high-ankle sprain, but now he is joined by defensive tackle Broderick Washington. Washington was limited all week due to an ankle injury, and he is now out.
The full inactives list is as follows:
QB Lamar Jackson
WR Elijah Sarratt
FS Jaylinn Hawkins
G Andrew Vorhees
DE Broderick Washington
Jackson was angling to play and stated that he was "heading in the right direction," but he was ruled out on Saturday instead. The Ravens are keeping things a bit cautious with the quarterback.
Hawkins is also dealing with a knee injury and was ruled out by head coach Jesse Minter. Minter also seemed to indicate that Hawkins may be dealing with something a bit significant, but there has been no timetable on when he will return.
Vorhees being out could also complicate the offensive line, should there be an injury.
Vorhees appeared on the injury report with a foot injury, but was a full participant. It could be that the Ravens are ensuring his foot injury also completeley heals.
Center Cam Jurgens is now in at center after missing the last two games due to being in concussion protocol. With Jurgens taking over at center, that pushes rookie guard Vega Ioane back to his natural right guard spot.
With Vorhees out, the direct backup for Ioane will be Emery Jones Jr.
Despite some key players not being able to suit up against the Bengals, the Ravens have a strong roster. They will now be seeking to take down a divisional opponent.
Baltimore lost first place to the Cleveland Browns in Week 6, and Tyler Huntley was the quarterback under center with Jackson out.
Huntley has gone 1-1 thus far this season starting. He orchestrated an impressive fourth-quarter and overtime win in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons, but the Ravens could not close out the Browns in Week 6.
With the Bengals next, the Ravens have to find a way to win to ensure they keep a nice lead in the AFC North. That, and losing two divisional games in a row, might have some deep consequences down the line.
This should be a tough matchup for both teams, but expect the Ravens to rely on the run game to wear down this Bengals defense.
