The Baltimore Ravens have moved up multiple spots in the national power rankings.
The Baltimore Ravens won handily against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1, pointing to what could be a big bounce-back year under new head coach Jesse Minter.
Offensive coordinator Declan Doyle dialed up the "explosive" plays he promised, and Minter and the defense had the Colts all but silenced.
Here is where the Ravens land in the Week 2 power rankings.
NFL.com - No. 3
Baltimore leapt up three spots on NFL.com, as they were sitting at No. 6 ahead of Week 1. The ranking mentions Doyle's offensive prowess, which led to over 500 yards offensively, and a record-setting day for running back Derrick Henry.
The Athletic - No. 5
The Athletic had the Ravens below the top 10 heading into the start of the regular season, but now the team is a top-five squad. Again, Doyle was mentioned as was the 506 yards of offense the Baltimore team put together in their dismantling of the Colts.
ESPN - No. 3
ESPN had Baltimore sitting at No. 8 during preseason, but now they are in the top five and at No. 3 overall. What made this win special, apart from Henry moving into third all-time in rushing touchdowns, is that the Ravens also had a franchise first.
Lamar Jackson's over 300 yards passing, Zay Flowers' 150 yards, and Henry's over 100 rushing yards are now in the record books.
Yahoo Sports - No. 3
Similar to the others, Yahoo Sports has the Ravens sitting at No. 3. The offensive yards were only outshone by the Chicago Bears, but Yahoo sees a Super Bowl contender in the current Baltimore roster.
It may be a bit early to consider the Ravens a Super Bowl contender, but a decsive win like that happening a few more times will have everyone believing.
The Verdict
Baltimore set out to shed the struggles of the 2025 season, and they did just that. The offense was humming along, apart from a third-quarter collapse.
The usual case for the Ravens is to start fast and get slow. While the third quarter started to prove that, things were corrected in the fourth quarter, and they closed out the Colts.
What will be the most significant update for the offense is how it operates now that Flowers is dealing with an aggravated hamstring and Ja'Kobi Lane is out due to a reported fractured wrist. There are wide receiver reserves, but is it enough?
