The Baltimore Ravens have been handed a horrible prediction for Thursday night's game against Jacksonville.

The Baltimore Ravens badly need to figure out how to come through with a win on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On the positive side, the Ravens will be playing in front of their home crowd. However, they are going to be playing without superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson and backup signal caller Tyler Huntley.

Getting the start will be undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano. He came into the game last week against the Buffalo Bills and made his NFL debut, completing 10 of his 21 pass attempts for 91 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception.

Hailing from Boston College, the 6-foot-3 and 225-pound quarterback threw for 3,448 yards, 28 touchdowns, and just one interception in 2025 with the Huskies. He completed 69 percent of his passes that year and chipped in with 131 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Behind Fagnano, the team will have Kedon Slovis as the primary backup. He was signed off of the Green Bay Packers' practice squad this week.

Baltimore has made the move to acquire Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals, but that trade will not finalize until later in the week. He won't be eligible to play against the Jaguars.

Just hours before the game against Jacksonville kicks off, the Ravens have been slammed with a horrific prediction.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio isn't giving Baltimore any chance to knock off the 5-2 Jaguars. He is predicting that the Ravens will be defeated by a final score of 27-13.

At the end of the day, Baltimore has a lot of adversity to overcome. Sometimes, teams find the best of themselves in these moments. But, there is no question that the Ravens are facing an uphill battle against one of the top contenders in the AFC.

Coming into this week's game, Baltimore has lost three straight games. Following their impressive 4-1 start, the Ravens are just 4-4 at this point in time.

Obviously, the team's playoff hopes are very much in danger. Baltimore's hopes of winning a Super Bowl seem all but over. No one can fully count the Ravens out, but things are looking bleak.

A win over Jacksonville would be a huge step towards getting back on track. On the other hand, a fourth straight loss would put Baltimore in a very difficult situation.

Kickoff tonight is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET. Fans will be able to watch the game on Prime Video.
