Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers and defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike are officially active against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Baltimore Ravens were expected to get wide receiver Zay Flowers back against the Dallas Cowboys, as the pass catcher tested out his hamstring early on the field in Brazil.
After making cuts and running, he told a reporter that he will be active, and that has now been confirmed by the Ravens. With the inactives list being released, Flowers and defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike are ready to go.
The full inactives list is as follows:
WR Elijah Sarratt
FS K'Von Wallace
ILB Carl Jones
T Ronnie Stanley
DT Aeneas Peebles
QB Joe Fagnano (emergency third)
This is huge news for the Baltimore offense and defense, as they get key players on both sides of the ball. Additionally, second-year linebacker Teddye Buchanan is also set to make his 2026 debut.
Flowers has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury that he suffered before Week 1, and it was aggravated against the Indianapolis Colts. He missed the second half of that game and also missed Week 2 due to the nagging ailment.
Despite missing two practice days ahead of the Cowboys matchup, Flowers was upgraded to limited on Friday and will now take the field.
Madubuike suffered a season-ending neck injury early in 2025, and there was concern that it could have been career-ending. After a year off and offseason neck surgery in 2026, the defensive tackle has been working his way back.
Buchanan also suffered a season-ending ACL tear in December, but he recovered very quickly and will now take the field.
One of the worst aspects of this inactives list is that left tackle Ronnie Stanley is now out. He has been dealing with a toe injury that was aggravated in Week 3, and he was pulled near the end of the third quarter.
Now, that toe has led to his having to miss a game.
With Stanley out, the Ravens will be relying on Carson Vinson, who will get his first start of the 2026 season. Vinson stepped in when Stanley had to exit due to his toe injury in the New Orleans Saints matchup.
Despite losing the left starting tackle, the Baltimore offense will get a big boost with Flowers being able to take the field.
Multiple reports have indicated that Flowers may be on a pitch count due to his hamstring injury, so he could potentially only play in about 20 to 30 plays, but that has not been confirmed.
