Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers and left tackle Ronnie Stanley are both expected to play against the Tennessee Titans.
The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly getting back two of their key players for their Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Wide receiver Zay Flowers and left tackle Ronnie Stanley have been dealing with injuries, which have kept them limited during the week, but both are expected to play.
Flowers has a nagging hamstring injury that knocked him out during Week 1, and led to him missing Week 2. Despite concerns about the injury in Week 3, he was able to take the field in Week 3 in Brazil.
The Ravens receiver was also limited on Wednesday, upgraded to a full participant on Thursday, then downgraded to limited again on Friday. Flowers was deemed questionable for Sunday's matchup.
Now, it appears he should have no problem playing against the Titans.
Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Flowers is reportedly good to play.
In addition to Flowers, it has also been reported that Stanley will take the field, despite his having a toe injury that led to a Week 3 miss.
Stanley was limited all this week due to the toe injury, and he was also considered to be questionable. However, he will reportedly be playing against the Titans.
Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Stanley is "good to go."
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter spoke about Stanley on Friday, stating that the lineman had a good two days of practice and that the team would test his toe injury to see how he could perform. The lineman's toe appears to be in good enough shape to take the field on Sunday.
Getting both Flowers and Stanley back is huge for this Baltimore offense, which has been operating at a high level when both are on the field.
Flowers secured the final over-the-middle throw in Week 3 that led to a last-second field goal victory.
Stanley is also the most seasoned and important lineman for the Ravens. He is the leader and gets everyone set, which will be even more important now that rookie guard Vega Ioane has been moved to center.
Week 3 saw both Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic get injured, and now both have been placed on injured reserve. With both out, Ioane stepped in as the emergency center, and he will now be the center in Week 4 and potentially moving forward.
The Ravens did bring in some depth, but it will be Ioane taking over for the time being.
