The Baltimore Ravens' wide receiver room may emerge as one of the best in recent memory.

There have been a lot of critiques over the firepower that the Baltimore Ravens have provided Lamar Jackson over the years. While Zay Flowers has emerged as a strong WR1, there have been too many players who have not made their mark.

Baltimore brought in DeAndre Hopkins in 2025, but the season quickly fell off the rails and never quite recovered. The injuries to Lamar Jackson also did not help, but Flowers still managed to haul in 1,211 yards and five touchdowns, proving his value even more.

Now, the Ravens have invested a lot into the chance they can find some more young talent and strike as big as they did when they drafted Flowers.

USC's Ja'Kobi Lane and Indiana's Elijah Sarratt have been the talk of OTAs and minicamp, as both offer the offense some huge upsides.

Lane is a tall receiver who is a big red zone threat and can offer the Ravens offense another go route weapon similar to Flowers. Sarratt is a contested catch monster and an over-the-middle yards after the catch weapon.

Despite their clear advantages, Lane also revealed that Doyle has been using him as an over-the-middle type of receiver and a blocker. His versatility could play a major factor in 2026.

That is also not to mention the offense already has Devontez Walker, who looks to have a breakout year. Walker has been spoken about by Flowers, Jackson, and more.

Walker has also appeared far more confident, and may be on his way to locking in that WR3 spot next to Flowers and Rashod Bateman. Bateman is a question mark due to his not having been able to emerge as a big playmaker since the 2024 season.

That lone season saw Bateman haul in 756 yards and nine touchdowns, both career highs, but his inconsistencies have been well-known.

That said, this collection of pass catchers may just form one of the best units that Baltimore has had in recent memory.

It has been well-established what Flowers is and can be, but he has not had the luxury of having another solid pass catcher that draw looks off of him. That could also change with Declan Doyle taking over the Ravens offense.

Doyle has been impressing players and coaches alike, with Flowers referring to him as a "genius" and Jackson indicating that his offensive style is "mind-blowing." If the new coordinator can put everything together, the Ravens' pass catchers may just meld in a way that hasn't been seen in a while.

Having an elite receiving unit also matters a great deal to the future of Jackson in Baltimore. Despite the rumors and reports that he could walk away not being substantiated, his not receiving the players he needs also does not look great.

If the Ravens had continued not addressing the pass catchers, Jackson may have felt a type of way about it.

Instead of just allowing another year to pass without addressing it, general manager Eric DeCosta drafted Lane in the third, followed by Sarratt in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Again, both players have some strong suits and can offer this offense a lot. Walker may see a significant rise, and Bateman might also flourish under this new Doyle offense.

Though there are many unknowns still, the excitement around camp from this pass catching unit feels different. If they can put it all together, the Ravens could have one of the best wide receiver corps in the NFL.
