A look at how the Baltimore Ravens running back room is shaping up ahead of training camp.
Despite the Baltimore Ravens going through a ton of changes in terms of the coaching staff and the exit of multiple free agent players, there are some aspects of the roster that have not been affected in a significant way.
One such roster spot is at the running back. Derrick Henry remains the leader in the room, but there could be some interesting shake ups regarding the depth and backup positions in 2026.
Here is a look at the running back unit ahead of training camp.
Ravens Running Backs on the Roster
Derrick Henry
Henry remains the lone leader in the backfield. After a 2025 season that saw him pick up 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns, along with 150 receiving yards, the team will once again lean on him heavily.
One might point to Henry getting older and eventually slowing down, but he continues to defy what constitutes an "old" player in the NFL.
Justice Hill
Justice Hill picked up 262 yards and three touchdowns from scrimmage, but also appeared in only 10 games in 2025. He was third string behind Keaton Mitchell and also suffered a neck injury.
Now, with Hill being fully healthy and Mitchell with another, the Ravens' back could see some big opportunities in 2026.
Rasheen Ali
Rasheen Ali was drafted in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft and emerged as a solid return man. After securing 763 return yards and a 25.4 yards per return average, he should return to that role.
Ali was used sparingly in the run and pass game, and turned nine receptions into 68 yards and a touchdown.
Adam Randall
Adam Randall is a former wide receiver converted into a running back. He was the lone pick from Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, and figures to be battling it out to secure the RB3 role.
Elijah Tau-Tolliver
Elijah Tau-Tolliver is one of two undrafted free agents that was signed during the 2026 offseason. He could potentially land on the practice squad.
Dontae McMillan
Similar to Tau-Tolliver, Dontae McMillan is an undrafted free agent signed to the Ravens roster during the offseason. He will offer competition to the already stacked room.
Biggest Running Back Questions
It will be interesting to see how Declan Doyle plans to use Henry. Todd Monken and John Harbaugh would oddly pull the All-Pro in favor of Mitchell, which proved to be costly at times.
Hill should rightfully secure the backup running back position, but could a younger upstart unseat him?
Randall could be a wild card prospect, but is Bisciotti's faith in the rookie set to pay off?
