USC brotherhood fuels Seahawks' Super Bowl glory. Former Trojans teammates unite, conquer the league, and etch their names in championship history.

The Seattle Seahawks stand alone at the top of the mountain after their win in Super Bowl LX against the New England Patriots.

And some of their biggest contributors all went to the same college.

In the locker room following the game, Seahawks star defender Leonard Williams talked a bit about some of his Seattle teammates also being with him at USC, and how cool it was to share this experience with them.

"It means a lot. The journey I’ve been speaking a lot about that," Williams said. "The journey is what makes this so special. A lot of those Trojan guys have been around since I was a rookie. When I was young in college, Sam Darnold, Uchenna (Nwosu), I played with those guys at USC. I played with Sam on the Jets. It means a lot to me to see it all come together."

The Seahawks had four former Trojans on the roster in Williams, Darnold, Nwosu, and Brandon Pili, with those first three guys all playing together at USC.

Darnold led the team to their best record in franchise history while Williams had seven sacks over the course of the season and was named Second Team All-Pro as a result.

Nwosu also had a very solid season, but his impact was really felt in the Super Bowl. He was able to return an interception all the way to the house to secure the Seahawks' lead and seal the deal.

Darnold and Williams were both leaders on their respective sides of the ball, and the three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle thinks that they have both had similar careers.

"I feel like we (Darnold) both had ups and downs, we’ve had similar journeys. We’ve had doubters, we’ve been traded and when it’s right, it’s right. When we got to this team, we immediately felt at home."

Both got off to a bit of a slow start in their first few years despite being high draft picks, but they have found where they were meant to be in Seattle.

The USC Trojans have not made it to the top of the mountain themselves since 2004, but they can live vicariously through their former players that just hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
