Yes, winning 14 games in back-to-back seasons is tough, but not impossible. In fact, Sam Darnold actually did it. In 2024, with the Minnesota Vikings and then with Seattle last season. So, it can be done.
But when looking at the Seahawks' schedule, it appears that the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag are rather bullish on Seattle in the regular season.

Of Seattle's 17 regular-season games, it is favored in 14. The only games the Seahawks will be underdogs in are at the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, at Philadelphia in Week 15, and at the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18.
Every other game, the Seahawks will start as favorites. Now, we know that can change, but that shows how the oddsmakers view Macdonald's team after free agency and the draft.
A 14-3 team if they win the games they are favored in.
A couple of other points from Shapiro.
The Seahawks will be favorites in their first 10 games of the season, which include the Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, 49ers, and the Chicago Bears.
So, against elite competition early, Macdonald's team is expected to flex their muscle.
And the last point from Shapiro is one that most Seattle fans will see coming: the franchise is favored in every home game.
Lumen Field is a fortress and it is expected to remain as such in 2026.
So, everything, right now, is in Seattle's favor to repeat as division champs, and maybe as Super Bowl champs too.
