Darnold again has multiple turnovers in a game that Seattle lost, with some calling for a move to be made, but Macdonald isn't there yet.

The Seattle Seahawks dropped to 3-3 after a 17-14 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on Thursday, as Sam Darnold is once again the headline.

It now marks the second consecutive game in which Darnold has thrown multiple interceptions, but against Denver, it was the timing of them that caused frustration.

Darnold's first came with 1:25 left in the fourth quarter as the Seahawks were driving to take the lead. Luckily, the defense got him the ball back, and he managed to orchestrate a drive that ended with a field goal to send the game to overtime.

But as the Seahawks were driving in overtime, Darnold again threw an interception, this time targeting Tory Horton, which set the Broncos up in good field position, and they managed to kick the game-winner.

There have been calls to replace Darnold after a turnover-filled start to the season - a "QB controversy!' - but head coach Mike Macdonald isn't there yet.

At one point, when asked the question on @SeattleSports, the coach replied firmly, "No. No.''

Later ...

"I think we have a lot of faith in Sam," Macdonald said. "Sam's played great football for us, he's done a lot of great things this year. We've obviously turned the ball over way more than we want to. I feel like there's things on our end that can help him play better football.

"I think he's definitely part of the solution rather than rather than the opposite."

Darnold now has seven interceptions in just five games, and in three of those outings, he's thrown multiple interceptions (including back-to-back games).

So there is clearly an issue here now for the Seahawks, and how they address it will be a fascinating watch.

I don't think they can bench a Super Bowl-winning quarterback... at least right now, since they are still alive at 3-3.

But as we know, a coaching staff only has so much wiggle room before it pulls the trigger on a move, and if Seattle benches Darnold, it would be a huge story.

For now, it's as you were with Darnold and these turnovers, but the Seahawks claim to have faith in Sam.

However, you can argue that the faith is being tested to its limits right now.
