We have now seen several mock drafts come out, and the Seahawks continue to be linked to one player.

We are in the NFL offseason, when everyone is trying to predict how the draft will go for each team, and for the Seattle Seahawks, that is a little tougher to do.

With Mike Macdonald's team saying goodbye to a handful of key players in free agency and not replacing them with quality players, the feeling is that the Seahawks could try to use the draft to address those roster holes.

But with only four picks, that doesn't give general manager John Schneider much room to move.

Still, with so many mock drafts now coming out in the lead-up to the draft, you can follow the breadcrumbs and the general line of thinking from the media about what players teams will target.

When it comes to Seattle, that is a little trickier.

The secondary needs reinforcement after Coby Bryant and Riq Woolen left. Jaxon Smith-Njigba could use another running mate. While the running back room doesn't look too tough to play against right now.

But one name we have seen pop up regularly over the past month is Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price, who played second-fiddle to top-rated draft pick Jeremiyah Love.

And now we have CBS Sports' Josh Edwards having Price taken by Seattle in the first round of his latest mock draft.

"Post-Super Bowl, the Seahawks experienced a bit of a talent drain, losing running back Kenneth Walker III, edge rusher Boye Mafe and cornerback Riq Woolen," Edwards wrote.

"The team's task is to restock the cupboard. It could wait until No. 64 overall to address the position, but supply is lower than demand, which drives up the price. Seattle pairs Zach Charbonnet with Price, just as Price shared a backfield with Jeremiyah Love in South Bend."

Some think that Price in the first round is a bit of a reach, and, given the defensive talent pool, others suggest the Seahawks go for a corner.

Still, with Zach Charbonnet, Kenny McIntosh, and George Holani as the top options, and maybe Najee Harris, who has visited the Seahawks over the past week, there isn't a lot of quality talent there.

Sometimes, mock drafts are just someone's personal opinion; other times, they are built based on sourced talks with people in the know.

And when it comes to Price, it appears a lot of people have him going to Seattle.

We never truly know how the draft will play out, but this will be an interesting one to watch in the early rounds.
