The Seahawks have again seen one of their players walk out the door, this time, to an NFC rival.

NFL free agency has continued, and the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks have again seen a starter walk out the door.

Having already seen the likes of Kenneth Walker, Cobe Bryant, and Boye Mafe walk out the door, all eyes were on the remaining free agents.

Would the Seahawks be able to keep some of them? Or would the prices being offered be too steep for Seattle?

Well, it appears that in the case of one key defensive starter, the price was a little too high for general manager John Schneider.

Corner Riq Woolen, who played 16 games (started 7) in the regular season and featured in all three playoff wins, including the Super Bowl, has found a new home.

He's signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year, $15 million deal.

That does seem pricey for a corner who isn't a starter, and likely won't be in Philadelphia either.

But still, it is another player the Seahawks have to try to replace, either in free agency or via the NFL Draft.

We knew the Seahawks were facing an uphill battle to keep their pending free agents, and with a handful already signing with new teams as free agency has just begun, it likely wasn't a surprise to them.

Maybe the prices that players were signed for, at $15 for one year for Woolen, do seem a little steep, but the Eagles clearly see value there. And the Seahawks were content with allowing their rotational corner to walk out the door.

As Super Bowl champs, it is common for the roster to get raided in free agency, and right now, the Seahawks have said goodbye to a host of starting and rotational players.

How Schneider and his front office work out how to proceed will be a fascinating thing to watch play out.

Seattle has cap space, so one would think that if the chance to sign a quality player arises, it won't have a problem doing so.

Many Seahawks have moved on this offseason, and Woolen is the latest.
