Seattle could take a look at receiver Bryce Lance, brother of former top pick Trey. His explosive talent could ignite the Seahawks' already potent offense.

The Seattle Seahawks were able to win their second Super Bowl in franchise history, and they were led by one of, if not the best wide receiver in the entire NFL.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba had perhaps the best season by a Seahawks wideout ever, but that in no way means that he would not be open to some more help if Seattle would be willing to give it to him.

In a recent mock draft by ESPN's Matt Miller, he has them doing exactly that. With the 96th pick in the third round of his mock, the reigning Super Bowl champions draft North Dakota State's Bryce Lance, who is the brother of former third overall pick Trey Lance.

The first thing that comes to mind when considering drafting Lance is the kind of career his older brother has had. After going third overall to the San Francisco 49ers in the 2021 NFL Draft, he has dealt with a number of injuries that have derailed what many thought was going to be a very successful career under center.

Despite not being the same position as his older brother, Bryce Lance will be hoping that he does not replicate the kind of career Trey has had so far.

The younger Lance racked up 1,079 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in his senior season with North Dakota State. He became the first Bison receiver ever to record multiple 1,000 yard seasons, and he did using his combination of size and big-play ability.

He ran a very impressive 4.34 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft Combine, as well as  41.5 inch vertical with a broad jump of just over 11 feet. This allowed him to finish with the second best athleticism score among wide receivers who were at the Combine.

The Seahawks have one of the best receiver duos in the entire NFL in JSN and Cooper Kupp, but the latter is getting up there in age, as he will be 33 years old in June. As a result, the team could look for a receiver in the upcoming draft to allow a young guy to learn under the veteran leadership of Kupp.

And Lance could be a very intriguing option for them to do that.
