With the Seahawks set to begin training camp this week, the team has made moves on three players as preparations begin.

But as we know at this time of year, we rarely see the entire roster out on the practice field as various players are dealing with ailments.
And that is the case for the trio of Nick Emmanwori, Kenny McIntosh and Tyrone Broden.
On Monday, the Seahawks placed all three on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list, so they won't be part of the early portion of training camp.
We know that Broden and McIntosh dealt with issues last season, so it is clear the pair aren't fully ready to resume football activities.
As for Emmanwori, he was a participant this offseason for workouts, so it is a little unclear as to what exactly the problem is with the star safety.
The news isn't great, as all three would have been looking to hit the ground running as the Seahawks try to defend their Super Bowl title.
It especially isn't good for McIntosh, who has the chance to prove himself in a running back room that right now has a lot of question marks hanging over it.
With Jadarian Price, George Holani, and Emanuel Wilson, McIntosh had a chance to stake his claim for significant snaps at training camp, but now he'll start behind the eight ball at least for the early portion of camp.
The news of the trio landing on PUP could also be to ease them into the offseason after dealing with long injury issues, and it is worth noting that the players placed on PUP can return at any time during camp.
So it isn't like they are going to be sidelined for a month; they could be back within a week or a couple of days.
But there is a timeline.
When roster cuts happen and the squad is trimmed down to 53, if this trio is still on PUP, they will have to miss the first four games of the 2026 season.
That is a long way down the road, but for these three players, their 2026 offseason isn't starting with a bang; instead, it's a more slow-paced walk as Seattle is taking no chances with its players right now.
