Despite the Seahawks losing some players to free agency, their offense remains among the NFL’s most dangerous—especially at wide receiver. Seattle might have lost Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs, but they still have some of the NFL's best weapons on the outside.
In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Moe Moton, he ranks what he believes are the best wide receiver duos in the NFL after some of the moves that have happened so far in the offseason. And perhaps too low at No. 7, he has the Seahawks duo of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp.
"Entering his age-33 term, Kupp is past his prime. Since his 2021 triple crown year, his receiving yard totals have been on the decline, but he's still a quarterback's safety blanket," Moton writes. "Smith-Njiga's breakout 2025 season elevated this pair past the first three duos. If he builds on the previous campaign, the 24-year-old will be mentioned in more discussions among the league's top receivers."
Among the league's top receivers? JSN showed this past season that he is perhaps the best in the league, so I don't think he needs to worry about being mentioned in the conversation.
He recorded 119 receptions for 1,793 yards, both of which set new Seahawks record. He was also able to get into the end zone 10 times over the course of the season, and was a driving force behind the team's Super Bowl winning playoff run.
Meanwhile, Kupp provides a steady and experienced complement. Though no longer in the statistical prime that once saw him capture the receiving triple crown, he remains one of the most reliable route-runners in football. His 593-yard campaign in 2025 may not jump off the page, but his consistency and situational awareness make him an ideal secondary option.
While they absolutely deserve a spot on this list, it could be argued that they need to be higher. Seattle did not score the third most points in the league for no reason.
As the Seahawks look ahead to the 2026 season, expectations will only rise. If Smith-Njigba continues his meteoric ascent and Kupp maintains his efficiency, Seattle’s passing attack could once again rank among the NFL’s elite—and this duo will be at the center of it all.
