Seahawks vs. Bears: How To Watch Crucial 'Monday Night Football' Showdown
Nov 2, 2026 2:42 PM

Fresh off dominating the Chiefs, Seattle’s revitalized offense faces a gritty Chicago defense. Sam Darnold must protect the football as Caleb Williams brings his high-octane weapons to Lumen Field.

The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Chicago Bears at Lumen Field on Monday night, with Mike Macdonald's team finding form.

After their losing streak was abruptly snapped with a 20-3 domination of the Kansas City Chiefs, Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams are the next items on the menu for the Seahawks as they welcome a fellow NFC contender.

The Bears, at 5-2, are a serious problem now that Williams has returned, not to mention the addition of Jeffery Simmons to the defensive line, so Chicago isn't going to be an easy matchup.

The offense came to life against the Chiefs, with Sam Darnold playing better than he has in a while, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba continuing to put up huge numbers, but you better believe that Dennis Allen will have a plan for him on Monday.

Still, the Seahawks are welcoming back both Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet for Monday night so, the Bears' defense is going to have to solve a lot of problems at Lumen Field.

Having forced three turnovers in three separate games this season, Allen's defense knows how to take the football away, so Darnold has to be cognizant of not gifting Williams and Chicago's high-octane offense extra possessions.

Plus, the Bears' defense is stout against the run over the last month, not allowing more than 70 yards in each game, which is something Brian Fleury would like to change.

This has all the makings of a classic NFC showdown, as the "Dark Side" is going to have its hands full with Williams and his vast array of weapons, including Luther Burden, Rome Odunze, and Colston Loveland.

Seattle will need someone else other than JSN to come to the passing party, so look for Cooper Kupp and others to help shoulder the load, because Allen will be doing his best to take No. 11 away, and if he can limit his impact, the Seahawks will have to find other avenues to go with the football.
