The Seahawks had two fumbles against the 49ers, and Fleury knows how to make sure it doesn't happen again.
The Seattle Seahawks had a bad turnover problem in their loss to the San Francisco 49ers, and one that, you could say, handed their rivals the win.
Sam Darnold threw two interceptions, and running back George Holani had two fumbles, one of which he recovered.
One of Holani's fumbles came late in the second quarter as the Seahawks were backed up near their own endzone. George got the handoff while in the red zone, fumbled, and the 49ers recovered, scoring a touchdown to go up 21-13.
But he also had one prior to that, with a little over four minutes left, as Darnold hit him on a little dump-off on third and seven, and with no defenders around him, George fumbled the ball, but luckily he recovered it and picked up the first down.
So, he had slippery hands.
But how do the Seahawks fix that sort of issue on a short week, given there won't be any "proper" practices ahead of Denver on Thursday night?
"Yeah, I mean just be mindful about it," offensive coordinator Brian Fleury said. "You're obviously not going to be able to work through it in a walkthrough setting, but it's just having the mindset that we're going to protect the football at all costs, like at the expense of maybe not avoiding a tackle or breaking a tackle or being able to run through contact the way you want to.
"It's just something that you have to continue to emphasize until it gets turned."
Turnovers have begun to be a real problem for the Seattle offense over the past three weeks.
In total, eight of the Seahawks' nine turnovers this year have come in the last three games, so there is clearly something going on with the offense, and as we know, turnovers come in bunches.
So the Denver Broncos will no doubt be aware of this, and in particular Holani, so whenever he gets the ball in his hand, the Vance Joseph's defense is going to be doing all they can to rip it out.
The Seahawks need a win at Mile High to keep pace with the 49ers, who are now 5-0, and losing to Denver would put the franchise well and truly in the rearview mirror of their rivals.
Turnovers come in bunches, but for the Seahawks, on a short week, they hope this tough stretch ends on Thursday night.
