The Seahawks only have four picks in the NFL Draft, so the franchise has to hit on them.

The NFL Draft is fast approaching, and the Seattle Seahawks are on the clock, but the franchise only has four selections.

That doesn't give general manager John Schneider much wriggle room.

A selection in each of the first three rounds, and a sixth-round pick is all that Seattle has to work with.

So that means the Seahawks are most likely going to have to hit on those four selections, given the players lost in free agency.

But who could the Seahawks target?

Defense seems like the obvious choice, given Riq Woolen, Coby Bryant, and BoyE Mafe have all left.

But running back could also be an option, likely in the later rounds with Kenneth Walker moving on. The Seahawks' running back room doesn't instill fear, although head coach Mike Macdonald thinks people are "sleeping" on the position.

For NFL.com's Eric Edholm, he's given his thoughts on who Seattle's ideal two draft picks could be.

Clemson corner Avieon Terrell in the first round, and Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price in the second round.

"For the team that has no screaming needs, I earmarked a smaller but highly competitive corner who could help the depth chart inside and, possibly, outside," Edholm wrote.

"In the end, Price ended up being there in Round 2, which is where John Schneider found Kenneth Walker III, Zach Charbonnet and Christine Michael previously."

Terrell makes sense given the losses in the secondary, and he would fit in well with Macdonald's defense. Possessing elite man-coverage skills, along with being physical and having a nose for turnovers, he could slot in on Day 1.

Most fans would be happy with that pick.

As for Price, we have seen differing views on him, particularly as a high pick.

Seen as a potential change-up option, Price has good vision and is highly efficient in running the ball (averaged at least 5.8 yards per carry across three college seasons.

Now, whether Seattle fans see these two as "ideal" picks remains to be seen, but both fill a need for Macdonald.

I could see the Seahawks going defense in the first two rounds, but with Price, the running back room at least gets another body.
