Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers praised RB Jaylen Warren.
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers has played with several great players during his NFL career.
RB Jaylen Warren is just the latest one.
"He's put himself in all the conversations," Rodgers said about Warren. "He's playing incredible. To be able to call a trap on third and 20, get a first down, is pretty wild. Didn't expect that. I couldn't remember the last time that happened when I was out there. Love having him on our team. Fantastic teammate. He's making a lot of plays."
In the Steelers' win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Warren had 143 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 17 carries, helping Pittsburgh win by a final score of 27-6.
"Just playing with the boys I play with," said Warren. "I wouldn't want to be part of any other team. We all built that camaraderie during camp. We've all been with each other. We see eye-to-eye every week. Isn't like I'm just out there playing football. I'm playing football with my brothers."
Warren now has 704 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on the season for the Steelers, who enter the bye week 6-2. They are in first place in the AFC North.
The Steelers' 23rd straight regular-season home win over the Browns gave them sole possession of first place in the AFC North.
With the "Dawg Pound" being a prominent aspect of the Browns' fan base, the Steelers' social media account sent a variety of dog-themed trolls. One of them was an image of a car's reverse camera showing a smiling dog. However, Pittsburgh indicated that it would be reversing into the dog and wrote in the caption on X: "ruh roh."
Others included dogs wearing Steelers gear. The main image is a reference to a scene from the 2025 film "Sinners" when Stack, played by Michael B. Jordan, reacts excitedly to Sammie playing the guitar. In this case, he's reacting to the Steelers' final score.
After the bye week, the Steelers face Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in another AFC North matchup.
In his final NFL season, Rodgers has 1,871 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns and six interceptions. The future Hall of Famer is completing 60.8% of his passes.
A four-time MVP, Rodgers has 68,145 passing yards and 540 passing touchdowns in the NFL. He's played for the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Steelers.
Can Rodgers win a Super Bowl in his final NFL season like Peyton Manning did with the Denver Broncos? Only time will tell. The odds are pretty low since the Steelers have many flaws on both sides of the ball.
However, we said the same thing about the 2010 Packers and they shocked the world by winning the Super Bowl.
Let's see if Rodgers has one more trick up his sleeve before leaving the NFL for good.
