CJ Stroud on Texans’ urgency

Texans quarterback CJ Stroud spoke to the media on Wednesday about the team’s urgency on scoring drives.

“I would say yeah, the 4th quarter production we’ve seen in this last game, we can do it in the 1st quarter, we just gotta be wanting to do it. We’ve had those conversations & I think we’re doing a better job now, we’ll do a better job at that. I’m a firm comment of being aggressive, stay ahead of the sticks, even if that’s checking the ball down. I believe you need explosives, sustaining drives for 15+ plays is really tough in the NFL, the more explosives that we can obtain the field a little more, the more aggressive we can be. We’re all a part of it, can execute the plays better, call it better, do everything better & I think we’ll do that.”
