Adam Schefter predicts Music City's capacity for hosting the NFL Draft could soon lead to an even bigger event: a Super Bowl.

The Tennessee Titans hosted the 2019 NFL Draft, and the city of Nashville showed out.

People lined up and down Broadway in downtown Nashville as the city welcomed in NFL fans from around the country. Even some bachelorette parties had to reschedule after figuring out that the draft was happening at the same time.

The Titans drafted some promising talent in that class. Jeffrey Simmons, A.J. Brown, and Amani Hooker were all 2019 draft picks by the Titans.

In just under a month, the 2026 NFL Draft will be taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. General Manager Mike Borgonzi recently shared the Titans' draft strategy, which points to selecting Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.

Nashville has already hosted the draft, but ESPN's Adam Schefter suggested that Music City could host an even bigger event in the future.

Schefter appeared on a recent episode of "The Pat McAfee Show" and was willing to be that Nashville would eventually host a Super Bowl.

"Nashville, I'll bet, gets a Super Bowl," Schefter said. "By the way, when the draft was there, that was awesome. That was pretty cool. There was a lot of people up and down Broadway."

The Titans are entering a new era that could welcome in a potential Super Bowl hosting gig. Tennessee unveiled its new uniforms earlier this offseason and is currently building a new venue right next door to Nissan Stadium.

Hosting a Super Bowl would be a massive achievement for Nashville. The city proved that it could handle the 2019 NFL Draft and should be well-equipped to handle a Super Bowl.

Nashville was nearly picked as one of the host cities for the 2026 World Cup. However, that came to a halt when the new stadium wasn't scheduled to be completed in time for the event.

The franchise has stated on its website that the new stadium is eyeing a completion date of February 2027. This would give the team plenty of time to move to the new stadium before the 2027 season kicks off.

Nashville would be a great city to host the Super Bowl. The question is, can the team itself improve after multiple 3-14 seasons?

There is a promising host of characters on the Titans. Cam Ward looked great during the second half of his rookie season. Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Gunnar Helm showed a lot of promise as well.

The team made some major free agent moves, bringing in Wan'Dale Robinson, John Franklin-Myers, Alontae Taylor and Cor'Dale Flott.

The stadium is going to be built, whether or not this team can finally get over the hump and turn into a playoff contender under Robert Saleh and Borgonzi. They'll have to prove it on the field.

Regardless, it seems a Super Bowl is in this city's future; whether the Titans can make or host one remains to be seen.
