Tennessee prepares for a grueling preseason as they host three high-stakes joint sessions, offering the new-look roster a chance to settle scores against familiar NFC opponents.

We've known for a while that the Tennessee Titans would be playing the San Francisco 49ers (Aug. 13), Seattle Seahawks (Aug. 23), and Chicago Bears (Aug. 29) in the preseason.

On Monday, we learned the joint practice schedule, per Titans Insider Jim Wyatt.

The Titans are taking every opportunity they can to square off against other teams before their preseason matchups, as they are holding a joint practice with all three of their preseason opponents.

Each joint practice will be two days before the actual game.

Saleh is very familiar with the Titans' first preseason team. It was just last season that he was the 49ers' defensive coordinator. Jeffery Simmons actually spoke about what it was like seeing Saleh's energy on the sideline and said it was one of the many reasons he's excited to play for him.

The Titans did face the 49ers last season, losing 37-24. San Francisco got out to a 14-3 lead in the second quarter, then added a field goal to give itself a seven-point lead heading into halftime.

The 49ers then responded by scoring two touchdowns on their first two drives of the second half. Cam Ward finished his day with 170 passing yards and two touchdowns.

The Titans are staying in the NFC West for their next game.

The Seahawks and Titans saw each other in Week 12 of the regular season last year. Ward and the Titans nearly engineered a second-half comeback after being down 30-10 at one point.

The offense put 14 unanswered points on the board the rest of the way, but the Titans' last touchdown was scored with 43 seconds left, meaning that they would need an onside kick to keep the game going.

Seattle recovered the onside kick, and the Titans' comeback efforts fell short by a score of 30-24.

Seattle heads to Nashville again to face the Titans on Aug. 23.

Then, the Titans wrap up the preseason with the Bears.

The Titans and Bears last faced off in the 2024 season opener. Will Levis was the starting quarterback at the time, and the offense got off to a good start, going up 17-0 in the first half.

Then, it all fell apart.

The Bears got points on the board after a field goal from Cairo Santos, then they scored a touchdown on a blocked punt. Chicago added two more field goals in the fourth quarter before Levis threw a pick-six, which sealed the win for the Bears.

The Titans lost that game 24-17 after blowing a 17-point lead.

Saleh stated earlier this offseason that he's planning on playing every quarterback in the preseason. The Titans still have Ward, Mitchell Trubisky, Levis and Hendon Hooker on the roster.

It'll be interesting to see how much of the other starters get to see time in the preseason, as the Titans are getting to their season opener in September.
