The Titans' No. 4 pick remains elusive. Will it be a dynamic offensive weapon or a defensive cornerstone for Robert Saleh's vision?
It's almost time for the Tennessee Titans to make their selection at No. 4 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
It's anyone's guess as to who the pick will be.
General Manager Mike Borgonzi initially said that the Titans are going with the best player available at the NFL Owners Meetings. This made it seem pretty obvious that he was talking about Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.
Love offers a unique blend at running back, able to line up at receiver if needed.
Then, Borgonzi appeared to change his tune recently. At his predraft press conference, he talked about finding players who want to play for the head coach.
As Titans fans know, Robert Saleh is a defensive-minded head coach, signaling that Tennessee may go with a defensive player earlier in the draft. It sounds like Borgonzi is willing to equip Saleh with the tools he needs for success, acknowledging Saleh's past strengths on defense.
Borgonzi has also stated that the team is flexible regarding any potential trades. However, he also mentioned how many players the Titans like with the No. 4 pick. It's getting harder and harder to tell what the franchise will do on Thursday night.
Love, Sonny Styles, Rueben Bain Jr., David Bailey and Carnell Tate have been tied to the Titans in the various mock drafts that have been released this offseason.
It's time to see who has the best odds of being taken No. 4 overall if the Titans decide to stick and pick there.
DraftKings Sportsbook released the favorites to land at No. 4.
Love (-135) is the frontrunner, followed by Bailey (+550), Styles (+600), Arvell Reese (+900), Tate (+1300) and Bain Jr. (+1600).
Reese is an interesting prospect because he is a hybrid. He played outside linebacker at Ohio State, but has the potential to be an edge rusher in the NFL as well.
This past season with the Buckeyes, he recorded 69 total tackles, 10 TFLs and 6.5 sacks. It'll be interesting to see how he fits into an NFL defense once he gets drafted.
Each of the previously mentioned would address a need for the Titans, though some are more important than others.
Edge rusher is of high importance, but with how deep the class is looking, the Titans could afford to take Love at No. 4 and still address the position later on. Taking a receiver like Tate would give the Titans the desperately needed depth, with Bryce Oliver, Chimere Dike, Xavier Restrepo, Mason Kinsey and Hal Presley III as the reserves.
The Titans have found their promising young quarterback; now, they need to continue building the team as they hope for a quick rebuild under Borgonzi and Saleh.
Before you know it, we'll hear that jingle, and the Titans will announce their pick.
