Nashville’s neon lights meet the gridiron. These bold navy threads celebrate Music City heritage with light blue helmets, debuting against the Jaguars to ignite a classic AFC rivalry.

The Tennessee Titans have resided in Nashville since 1999.

One of the main parts of the city that tourists and residents gravitate towards is Broadway, with its selection of venues, bars, and honkytonks alike.

It's of the reasons that the city of Nashville is the bachelorette party capital of the world.

The Titans paid homage to their Houston Oilers roots with the rebranded uniforms they released earlier this offseason. Now, they're paying homage to the city they call home.

The Titans announced their new Nike Rivalry uniforms on Tuesday via their social media account. The helmets will be light blue, and the uniforms will be navy. The numbers are supposed to resemble the neon lights on Broadway.

The words "Music City" are also on the front of the jersey just under the NFL logo.

The Titans are set to wear the uniforms against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Nov. 15 at Nissan Stadium. The Jaguars have their own rivalry uniforms that they'll wear on Jan. 1 versus the Indianapolis Colts.

If you were to ask Titans fans who their biggest rival was, most would probably say the Houston Texans. The Oilers moved to Tennessee in 1997 and then became the Titans in 1999.

After the NFL didn't grant Houston a stadium renovation, the league decided to award the city another team in 2002. The Texans and Titans have had a lot of hate for each other ever since.

Titans owner Amy Adams-Strunk stoked the fires of the rivalry when the team wore their Oilers throwbacks against the Texans in 2023.  Former players like J.J. Watt have been open about their belief that the Oilers should be a part of the Texans' history and not the Titans'.

So far, Adams-Strunk hasn't budged.

The Texans may be the Titans' main rival, but there have still been many memorable games against the Jaguars.

The Titans and Jaguars have been connected ever since the 1999 season.

They played each other twice in the regular season and met again in the playoffs. The Jaguars were led by Tom Coughlin that year and went 14-2 in the regular season.

Who were those two losses to? The Titans.

The Titans and Jaguars met in the AFC Championship Game, and the Titans knocked them out of the postseason with a 33-14 win.

The Titans punched their ticket to the Super Bowl with a win over a division rival in their first year in the NFL.

Then, there were the recent editions of the rivalry in 2022 and 2023. The Titans were eliminated from playoff contention after a loss to the Jaguars at the end of the 2022 regular season.

The Titans returned the favor in 2023, knocking the Jaguars out of playoff contention in the regular season finale that season.

Tennessee also clinched a playoff spot with a win over Jacksonville at Nissan Stadium in 2017.

The Jaguars aren't the team that comes to mind when you think about the Titans' main rival, but you can't deny that the two franchises don't have much history.

Either way, the Titans are going to rep the city they call home on Nov. 15.
