Are the Vikings giving up on JJ McCarthy?

With many people anticipating that Kyler Murray will be QB1 come week one, the question now arises whether or not it is too early to pull the plug on the JJ McCarthy experience? The Michigan alumni is by no means a perfect quarterback, but he is also far from the player Vikings fans have seen thus far. 

Injuries have tanked McCarthy’s career from the get-go. Fair or not, the doubt surrounding McCarthy has just as much to do with his availability as it does his play on the field. 

Is it too soon for the Vikings to give up on JJ McCarthy?
