The Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo gold medals have officially been awarded after an exciting week of competition.

It was an exciting week of competition at the Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo, and with it comes a new class of gold medalists.

No. 1-ranked cowboy Bradlee Miller earned his first gold medal in the bareback riding, where he topped the leaderboard with an incredible 90-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo's Hooey Rocks. His $18,000 payday in the finals is sure to help boost his lead in the world standings race. Kade Sonnier took silver with an 89-point ride, while Jess Pope took bronze with an 88.5.

After winning his first steer wrestling gold medal in 2022, Cash Robb added a second to his trophy case in 2026 after a 3.7-second run. Mason Couch secured the silver with a 4.2-second run, and Rowdy Parrott nabbed the bronze with a 4.5-second run.

While team roping saw a tie at the top of the leaderboard in the finals between Clay Smith and Coleby Payne as well as Cody Snow and Lane Mitchell, ultimately the gold medal was awarded to Smith and Payne. The duo had the faster average time coming into the finals. Brye Crites and Ross Ashford took home the bronze after a 5.2-second run.

Brody Wells recorded an outstanding 91.5 points on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo's Larry Culpepper to take home the gold medal and $18,000. Ryder Wright took home the silver with an 89.5-point ride and Sage Newman the bronze with 89 points. While Newman tied with Cash Wilson in the finals, he came in with the higher score, winning the tiebreaker.

In tie-down roping, Tyler Calhoun topped the podium with a 7.2-second run. Joel Harris finished second with a 7.4, narrowly edging out bronze medalist Blane Cox’s 7.5-second run.

Barrel racing came down to one-hundredth of a second, with KariAnn Cross taking home the gold medal after a 16.96-second run. Hayle Gibson-Stillwell received the silver with a 16.97, followed by McKenna Coronado’s 17.03-second bronze medal effort.

Beau Peterson roped an incredible calf in the finals, stopping the clock in 2.2 seconds to take home her first gold medal. Shelby Boisjoli-Meged finished second with a 2.6, and Maddy Jacobs finished third with a 2.7.

In bull riding, Tristen Hutchings was the only cowboy to cover his bull in the finals – finishing atop the podium with 85 points, securing over $18,000 as he looks to regain his top spot in the world standings race. John Crimber secured the silver after posting a 90 during the long round and TJ Gray received bronze based on his previous score.

As the summer run begins to wind down, the Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo gave many competitors a much-needed opportunity to climb the world standings race before the season’s final stretch.
