Canadian brothers Dawson and Dillon Graham continue building toward a second National Finals Rodeo after setting a new team roping arena record at one of rodeo's most prestigious stops.
If there is one thing Dawson and Dillon Graham have proven over the last two seasons of rodeo, it's that when they have a chance to stop the clock fast, they take that opportunity.
The brothers from Wainwright, Alberta, added another milestone to their year by setting a new team roping arena record at the prestigious Reno Rodeo, turning in an impressive 3.7 second run/
The record-breaking performance vaulted the Canadian duo to seventh in the average with a 14.3-second time on two head, keeping them in contention at one of the biggest rodeos of the summer.
For rodeo fans, however, seeing the Graham brothers at the top of the leaderboard is becoming a familiar sight.
The duo showed up in 2025, punching their first ticket to the NFR, where they proved they belonged. They tied for the Round 3 victory with a 3.8-second run before coming back later in the week to win Round 7 outright with a 3.5-second run. By the time the dust settled in Las Vegas, Dawson and Dillon had placed in five of the 10 rounds at the SuperBowl of rodeo.
That success has now carried into 2026. The brothers continue working toward qualifying for their second Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and currently sit inside the top 35 of the PRCA World Standings. With the summer run now underway, every rodeo and every check become increasingly important in the race toward the Top 15.
Their recent results suggest that the Graham boys have a real shot.
In addition to the arena-record run in Reno, the Grahams recently picked up a fourth-place finish at the Sisters Rodeo in Oregon, finished second in the average at the Clovis Rodeo in California, and added another payday at the Music City Rodeo in Nashville.
Setting an arena record in Reno only adds to the impressive list of accomplishments for the Alberta brothers.
As the summer run continues and the race to Las Vegas heats up, Dawson and Dillon Graham are roping great and setting big goals. Another trip to Vegas could well be in their future if 2026 continues to go their way.
