The 3x and reining World Champion tie down roper has won over $300,000 in the 2026 regular season, and is headed to his 5th NFR sitting in comfortable position.
It would be hard for anyone to argue that Riley Webb is one of the best to ever play the game. He is now a 3x World Champion after a dominating 2025 season. This year, the dominance continued, and he has won over $300,000 in the regular season. The Denton, Texas cowboy has officially broke his own regular season earnings record and has him number 1 in the PRCA World standings by a long shot.
Riley made history last year at his 4th NFR. He became a 3x consecutive World Champion and is the first to do so since Roy Cooper.
Webb's most recent big win came in Puyallup Washington. He was second in the semi finals, and then won the finals with a 7.3 second run. Just there in Puyallup, Riley won around $20,000 pushing his season earnings for 2026 over the $300,000 mark.
Last year, Webb went into the NFR after the 2025 regular season with $305,132 won. Now with a few big rodeos still remaining, he has broken his own record. The Governors Cup in Sioux Falls still remains, one of the biggest paying rodeos of the entire season.
His dominance this year has never slowed down. Early in the year, Riley took over the lead in the world and has not slowed down a bit. A huge $65,000 win at RODEOHOUSTON gave him a huge lead quickly this winter. He broke the arena record there, and took home the title once again. There is just something about NRG Stadium and Riley Webb, or maybe just about Webb in general. Riley is one of those guys that just can win in any set up. Just over the Fourth of July, also known as Cowboy Christmas, Webb won nearly $50,000. He is a force, and is only 23 years old.
2026 is a huge year for Webb already. Not only is he number 1 in the PRCA World Standings and setting records over and over again, many of which were already his own, but he is also making big moves in life outside of the arena. Riley is engaged to breakaway roper Josie Conner, who is also going to qualify for another National Finals Breakaway Roping this year. Both of them will be competing for a gold buckle in December.
Riley has a huge cushion on his lead as well. Number 2 man is World Champion Haven Meged. Meged has had an incredible year and is still nearly $100,000 behind Riley. This is just unheard of it in any event. It really goes to show just how dominant Riley is now, has been for several years, and will continue to be for many. Many have said that Webb will be remembered as the Greatest of all Time, which is really saying something with him still in the beginning years of his career. The cowboy is an athlete, and a business man. He knows how to make things happen, and his mental game is just as strong.
This December, Riley will head to Las Vegas looking to finish the job. Not only would he become a 4x World Champion, but that would be 4 gold buckles consecutively in 5 NFR qualifications. The 2026 season is winding down, and those big 10 days in the Thomas and Mack will be here shortly.
