The Bayern Munich forward confirmed that he had a meeting with the president of the United States last year.
Harry Kane's press conference, alongside England manager Thomas Tuchel, has generated one of the World Cup's most bizarre stories.
The Bayern Munich striker told the press that he played a round of golf with Donald Trumpin Florida.
"I played alright to be honest," Kane said.
“Yeah, we played about 18 months ago. He invited me to play when I was down in Palm Beach, so yeah, when the president invites you somewhere … it was a pretty surreal experience just to meet him and obviously play golf with him.
“So yeah, unique experience but yeah, I was just grateful he invited me down to play,” Kane added.
It was quite a surreal experience.
Donald Trump had praised Kane during the World Cup, saying the day after England's win against Mexico: “I think Kane is a great player. I played golf with him and I like him a lot. He’s a good golfer. He’s really great.”
