The Norwegian winger’s clinical form at Leipzig has captured Munich's attention, positioning the dynamic youngster as a primary candidate to eventually lead the Bavarian giants’ next-generation attack.
Antonio Nusa's excellent start to the season has not gone unnoticed in Munich, with Bayern keeping the RB Leipzig winger on their radar as they consider potential long-term options for their attack.
The Norwegian international has emerged as one of the most dangerous players in Leipzig's attack this season, building on the flashes he showed during his first two campaigns in Germany. His improved end product and increasingly consistent performances have made him an attractive option for clubs looking for a dynamic wide player.
Bayern are among those watching.
The German champions have already been linked with Nusa, with reports from Germany confirming that the club considers the 21-year-old interesting. Now, according to our sources, his performances at Leipzig are giving Bayern even more reason to keep him under consideration.
The connection with Luis Díaz is particularly interesting.
Bayern currently has no plans to sell the Colombian, and the player wants to stay in Munich, but Díaz is already 29, and Bayern will inevitably have to think about the next generation of their attack.
That is where Nusa could become a serious option.
The Norwegian offers a profile that would make sense for Bayern. He is comfortable starting from the left, possesses the acceleration to attack defenders one-on-one, and can also move inside when space opens up. His ability to carry the ball through pressure gives him another quality that fits naturally into a possession-heavy side.
More importantly, Nusa is now adding the numbers to his game.
His start to the 2026/27 season has seen him become a far more decisive player in the final third, rather than relying solely on his ability to beat opponents. That progression is precisely what can turn a talented winger into a realistic option for a club at Bayern's level.
Bayern are not the only club watching.
Premier League sides have already shown strong interest in Nusa, with Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa among the clubs linked with the Leipzig winger. Roma and Juventus have also been mentioned as potential suitors.
That competition could make a future deal complicated, particularly with Nusa tied to Leipzig until 2029.
For now, there is no indication that Bayern are preparing to make an immediate move. The club already has Díaz, Michael Olise, Ismael Saibari, Jamal Musiala, and other attacking options, while Nusa remains focused on his football in Leipzig.
Bayern are keeping a close eye on Nusa, and his performances this season could accelerate the situation. With Premier League clubs already monitoring him, the competition for one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers is only beginning to grow.
