Despite persistent Parisian interest, the Bundesliga side remains firm, prioritizing a contract extension for their Ivorian star over a blockbuster summer sale.

RB Leipzig's position regarding Yan Diomande remains unchanged despite weeks of speculation linking the Ivorian international with Paris Saint-Germain. While the French champions continue to be heavily associated with the winger, there has still been no official approach for one of Leipzig's most valuable assets.

According to Sky Sport Germany journalist Philipp Hinze, PSG have not submitted a formal offer for Diomande, with the Bundesliga club continuing to stand by the stance they have maintained throughout the summer: the 19-year-old is not on the market.

That position is also reflected in Leipzig's valuation.

Reports suggest that even offers in the region of €110-115 million would not be enough to convince the club to sanction a sale during this transfer window. Rather than preparing for a departure, Leipzig remain focused on building their future around one of Europe's fastest-rising attacking talents.

The club are simultaneously continuing negotiations over a contract extension, hoping to reward Diomande's extraordinary rise while further strengthening their position for the years ahead.

The latest update represents another significant signal from Leipzig.

Throughout the summer, the club have repeatedly insisted that Diomande forms a central part of their long-term project. Sporting managing director Marcel Schäfer has publicly reiterated on several occasions that Leipzig expect the Ivory Coast international to remain at the club, despite persistent interest from some of Europe's biggest sides.

That confidence has not wavered.

Liverpool were among the first elite clubs to seriously explore a move earlier in the window before PSG emerged as Diomande's preferred destination. Reports from France even suggested the player had reached an agreement in principle over personal terms with the Parisian club.

However, those developments have not translated into negotiations between the clubs.

With no official bid arriving from Paris, Leipzig have had little reason to alter their position. Internally, the club remain calm, pointing to the fact that Diomande is still under a long-term contract and that there is no sporting pressure to sell.

Financially, Leipzig are also in a stronger position than in previous summers.

While the club has acknowledged the need to generate revenue through player sales, they have looked first towards other potential departures, including Castello Lukeba and several other players, rather than considering the sale of one of the cornerstones of Demichelis' new project.

The continued push for a contract extension underlines that strategy.

Rather than protecting his value ahead of a sale, Leipzig want Diomande to become one of the club's faces over the coming seasons. His breakthrough campaign in the Bundesliga, followed by an outstanding World Cup with Ivory Coast, has elevated him into one of Europe's most coveted young attackers. Still, internally the belief remains that his ceiling is even higher.

Unless PSG changes its approach with an extraordinary proposal, Leipzig sees no reason to revisit their stance.

For now, the message from Saxony remains consistent: no offer has arrived, the asking price remains prohibitive, and the club's priority is still exactly what it has been since the beginning of the summer, keeping Yan Diomande in Leipzig and tying him down to a new long-term contract.

From here, the stage only gets bigger.
