Kris Boyd took a swipe at Celtic during his punditry duties for Sky Sports after Martin O'Neill's side completed another comeback win.

This has truly been a remarkable run for Martin O'Neill's Celtic. Under the Northern Irishman, they have won eight of the last ten games while remaining without a defeat. Even the two matches they drew were largely due to being shown red cards while in winning positions.

That being said, one cannot make the mistake of thinking O'Neill's side have been in brilliant form. On the contrary, they have looked off colour for many games on the trot. But they are finding ways to win.

The win over Kilmarnock was the third-straight occasion that they scored in added time to win the match. Against Dundee FC, Junior Adamu had struck in the 97th minute to take it to extra time before Sebastian Tounekti won it. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a debut 91st-minute winner against Livingston. And at Rugby Park this weekend, it was Julian Araujo who came up with the heroics in the 97th minute to seal all three points for the Hoops.

This result was even more remarkable as Celtic came from two goals down to score thrice in the second half and complete the comeback victory. Other than Araujo, Tounekti and Benjamin Nygren were the other goalscorers on the day.

Rangers legend Kris Boyd is someone who does not seem to be enjoying this run of results from Celtic. According to the Daily Record, he said on Sky Sports after this weekend's match: "Well, there was three substitutions at half-time, wasn't there? That can't be added on to the second half, can it?

"The board, they should just change it to 'play until Celtic score'. Just hold the board up and say that."

Boyd also seems to be of the belief that it is only a matter of time before Celtic run out of these heroic, late wins. He said: "Listen, we can have a laugh and a joke about it, but you can't keep doing it. You cannot keep depending on last minute goals.

"Celtic are still creating chances and not putting them away, and then teams start getting belief against them."

He does have a point there. Celtic cannot continue to depend on last-minute winners for much longer. One could argue that they have already ridden their luck enough. Three straight matches with wins being sealed in added time, that is pretty much unheard of.

It is a testament to this team's attitude. Also, one can only wonder what the table would have looked like right now, if Wilfried Nancy had never been handed the Celtic job, even if for those eight games, and the club had continued with O'Neill throughout, which is what they should have done.

There is no point in dwelling on the past though. What's in front of Celtic is a title race, and one that is starting to feel in their favour if you ask us.
