On Wednesday evening, attention turns back to the UEFA Champions League for Chelsea as they face defending champions PSG in the French capital, for the first leg of the round of 16 tie.
Having finished in the top eight, Liam Rosenior's side ensured second leg home advantage for this tie. There was some jeopardy over this, as a result of both Arsenal and Spurs also having second legs at home, but it was quickly confirmed that the advantage would stand.
Meanwhile, Chelsea fans let their outrage be known when Ligue 1 confirmed that PSG would be allowed to postpone their game with Nantes in between the two legs, allowing the team to fully focus on their tie with the Blues.
Well, there are a couple more advantages that Luis Enrique's side could have for the second leg in SW6 next week. Indeed, as Chelsea midfielders Enzo Fernandez and Andrey Santos are both one yellow card away from a suspension.
You feel it's not certain that Santos would start in this game, considering he is more of a rotation option and played all 120 minutes against Wrexham at the weekend, but it still gives Rosenior a bit of a headache.
Meanwhile, there is no doubt at all that Fernandez will start the game. Perhaps we will see the Argentine play in the number ten role, with Santos and Moises Caicedo sitting deeper, considering the level of the opponent.
We could also see Reece James move into midfield and play alongside Fernandez and Caicedo as we did at Aston Villa, with Malo Gusto at right-back. Whatever happens, it is certainly not ideal to have two midfielders both walking a tightrope.
For some balance, PSG's Nuno Mendes has the same dilemma. He is the only one in this situation from the hosts, but it is handy that the one player happens to be one of PSG's very best and most important players.
Having Cole Palmer on the right wing could be a match up. With the pace Mendes has, he could comfortably deal with a speedy player like Pedro Neto. A technician such as Palmer - who won't get close to his speed but can cause him issues with the ball - feels like a more interesting option.
Plus, we saw what the Englishman was able to do in the Club World Cup final. It's worth noting that Mendes was booked in that game. Let's see.
