Joey Veerman Undergoing Medical In Dortmund

Joey Veerman is set to leave PSV for Borussia Dortmund after nearly five years in Eindhoven, with the German club agreeing to pay around €22 million for the midfielder.

According to PSV watcher Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad, reliable sources have confirmed that Veerman's medical examination is scheduled for Monday. The transfer has moved rapidly over the past few days, following sustained interest from Dortmund.

The 27-year-old featured in PSV's 2-1 victory over Excelsior on Saturday evening and produced another influential display in what now appears likely to have been his final appearance for the club.

Elfrink noted that Joey Veerman has been undergoing all his medical checks in Dortmund today, and they hope to wrap everything up as quickly as possible.
