PSV Facing Attacking Concerns ahead of Eredivisie clash with Willem II

PSV’s attacking options are under scrutiny ahead of Saturday’s Eredivisie clash with Willem II, with injuries leaving Peter Bosz searching for the right combination in the final third.
Ricardo Pepi, Sam Lammers and Alassane Pléa are among the forwards sidelined, while newcomer Sami Ouaissa has also suffered a long-term injury. Sven Mijnans missed last Sunday’s match through suspension, further limiting Bosz’s options.
According to Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink, PSV’s attacking output has become a growing concern after defensive issues previously attracted most of the attention.
“Up front, it’s still for the coach to look for the best formation, even if Ricardo Pepi is back soon. And above all, looking for goals,” Elfrink noted.
Pepi’s availability for the Willem II fixture remains uncertain. His absence last weekend forced Bosz to introduce young striker Mikkel Bro Hansen.
However, Mijnans will be available again on Saturday, giving PSV another option in attack.
Elfrink also called for greater contributions from the wings, identifying Ivan Perisic and Ruben van Bommel as players who need to raise their level. He added that substitutes Esmir Bajraktarevic and Dennis Man will be expected to provide an attacking spark.
With PSV looking to maintain their momentum, finding consistent sources of goals has become a key priority for Bosz.
