As presidential elections heat up, a multi-million euro bidding war targets Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise to complete a terrifying frontline alongside Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior.
In the last week or so, Real Madrid have been undergoing their electoral process for the presidential position at the club, and the coverage has been worldwide.
While Florentino Perez continues to push for his reelection, he's faced fierce competition from energy mogul Enrique Riquelme, with the 37-year-old recently claiming he would sign Erling Haaland if elected.
In response, Haaland's father and his agent issued a joint statement denying the claim, while Manchester City threatened to sue the club for using Haaland's name and shirt number after Riquelme printed them on a Real Madrid kit.
In response to Riquelme's claims, Perez has now said in the media that he will sign a surprise superstar player for €150 million this summer.
The Spaniard dropped some hints on who the player was, explaining that it was a Champions League player who did not play in the Premier League, and added that the player is a midfielder or a forward.
He claimed that the player is not one of Michael Olise, Harry Kane, or Jeremy Doku, although the latest reports claim otherwise.
According to outlets in Spain, the player Perez is looking to bring in to Los Blancos is, in fact, Olise, with the French winger currently considered one of the best in the world.
If Olise were to join Real Madrid this summer, a front three of Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, and the Bayern Munich star could be one of the best football has seen in a decade.
