Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has chosen former Real Madrid forward as the most complete player he has played with, and it might come as a surprise to most.

Within a few seasons following the dismantling of Real Madrid's most successful squad in recent history, Los Blancos are now at best a mediocre side, given their performances over the past two seasons.

One might argue that the club is currently in a transitional phase as new players are being inducted into the side, and it will take time to produce results.

Apparently, success is a non-negotiable condition for the Santiago Bernabeu faithful as they always demand the best from the players who don the Royal White shirt, and one cannot completely blame the fans for their high standards, as players in the past have always delivered during the most difficult of times.

A most recent example is the Los Blancos side, which won the Champions League three-peat with players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, and numerous others who have now etched their names in the history books of the prestigious club.

There is also a certain amount of nostalgia amongst the players of that legendary squad, which has been evident again as a former member of Los Blancos' midfield trinity, Casemiro, recently revealed the name of the most complete player he has ever played with.

While talking to Rio Ferdinand on his program Rio Meets, Casemiro named Bale as the most complete player he played with, saying, "Cristiano is the best, take Cristiano out of the conversation, but for me, Bale is the most complete player."

The Manchester United midfielder also added, saying, "Cristiano is a scorer, minimum 15 goals. But Bale is attack, defend, head, score, foul. Everything he does is very good, very quick, and too strong. And for me, Bale is an unbelievable, unbelievable player, unbelievable player."

Although the Manchester United midfielder's comments might come as a surprise for most, as he seemingly left out his midfield partners Modric and Kroos, as the former even won the Balon d'Or during his time at the Spanish capital, one cannot deny the Welshman's impact at the club during his time in Madrid.

Bale was brought in the summer of 2013 for a record transfer fee to fulfill Los Blancos' obsession with winning La Decima, and the new signing delivered during his very first season at the club, scoring their second goal in the final against Atletico Madrid.

The Welsh international's career with Los Blancos was somewhat marred by injuries and controversies, but his sensational goals, including the one against Liverpool in the 2017-18 UCL Final, remain embedded in the memories of every Madridista, as Bale was undoubtedly one of Madrid's most impactful signings ever.
