Former club player Pedja Mijatovic says signing Jose Mourinho is the best thing for Real Madrid now.

The former Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, is getting closer to the team once again, and now a former club player, Pedja Mijatovic, confirms that choosing him as coach is the best thing that can happen to the club right now.

Mourinho and Real Madrid have a history, and although his departure from the club was not on the best of terms, it is not surprising that the club bets on rehiring the same coaches.

Los Blancos apparently decided to reconnect with the Portuguese coach, and, according to Fabrizio Romano, the club's president, Florentino Perez, spoke with him a few days ago to propose a return.

"Contacts between Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid, and Jorge Mendes are underway. The agreement between Mourinho and Real Madrid is closed," he assured.

Both parties spoke, and after Mourinho put three conditions in place for his return to the team, it remains to be seen what Florentino decides. For Romano, everything is almost complete for his return.

Now, Pedja Mijatovic, a former Real Madrid player, took a moment to reflect on El Larguero about the possible arrival of the coach at the club, making it clear that Mourinho should indeed return to the club.

"If I were the sporting director of Real Madrid right now, I would have no doubt: I would sign Jose Mourinho," he said.

In addition to affirming that, as we well know, the team is not at its best, the best thing would be to bring someone who has a firm hand with players, as the Portuguese does.

However, others think the club's president will not take the step to bring Jose Mourinho back.

Journalist Paco Gonzalez recently stated that he is eager to see how Vinicius Jr. reacts the moment he sees the coach at Valdebebas.

"Florentino will not dare to bring Mourinho back," he simply concluded.

And although the journalist prefers to refuse to believe that he will return, Mourinho remains the favorite of the board and the fans to return and bring order to a roster that has been very disorganized.
