Real Madrid prepares to sell Eduardo Camavinga for €60M. Inter Milan, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain appear to be interested.
The next season will bring changes for Real Madrid, especially because several players will leave the club, and one of those on the main list to do so is the defensive central midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
Within a squad of great players, Camavinga, 23, now seems to be a piece that does not perform in harmony with his teammates, which is why the white club is apparently already preparing to say goodbye to him.
According to Diario AS, the Spanish club will have to sell an important player before completing the list of players requested by the new coach, Jose Mourinho, to reinforce the team.
As the Spanish media outlet continues to explain, Real Madrid does not expect to sell him for less than €60M. With this figure in mind, those interested in him have already made themselves known, and they are not new candidates.
Inter Milan is one of those mentioned among the interested parties. This might work, since the central midfielder could provide balance and resistance to the Italian team; although it is not their main weakness, it would make them a very competitive team.
Liverpool FC and Paris Saint-Germain have also been circling Eduardo since last season; however, his arrival at a team like Paris Saint-Germain would be among the least likely, as his playing profile does not fit the expectations set by the board for this summer transfer.
Injuries and Camavinga's condition have left him far from what he once proved capable of contributing, and he has not only been singled out by Real Madrid fans.
In early May, the 26 players called up to play for the France national team were announced, and everyone noticed that his name was not on the list for the 2026 World Cup.
In response to this event, the player was visibly affected, posting a story on his Instagram admitting that, although this decision hurt him, he would continue working to return stronger.
Having been left out by his national team further led to doubt about whether this is a sign that his departure from Real Madrid would be one of the first to occur at the end of this season.
The most feasible path would be for his destination to be in Italy, but for that, the Frenchman will have to wait until he returns from his vacation on July 13 before beginning to train with the team.
