The summer transfer window is just around the corner, and although Real Madrid cannot yet do anything about it, the media are already speculating.

While the club prepares to welcome the Portuguese Jose Mourinho as a replacement for the current coach, Alvaro Arbeloa, new rumors have emerged about certain players whom the Setubal native wants to bring to the team.

The arrival of Mourinho is one of the most anticipated for the fans, as the 63-year-old coach already has a good history with Real Madrid from a few years ago.

Under his command, he won three official titles: one Spanish League, one Copa del Rey, and one Spanish Super Cup.

His return is more confirmed than ever, as the journalist Fabrizio Romano has given his famous 'HERE WE GO!' on his official X (Twitter) account, confirming that only the official announcement is missing and that Mourinho is back.

Romano confirms that they only need to sign all documents and that it will be a two-year deal, as Mourinho had supposedly conditioned from the beginning to be able to arrive at Real Madrid.

Now the focus is on the players who could be part of the roster Mourinho will manage, something that has already been discussed in the media, because supposedly 'The Special One' has already spoken with the club about potential players.

According to journalist Miguel Serrano and in words collected by Defensa Central, Mourinho prefers to put Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga up for sale and bring in his place Joao Gomes, a midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.

"Mourinho does not want Camavinga and offers the alternative of Joao Gomes for the midfield," Serrano said.

The matter is not official at all, and although it is only a rumor, his arrival with Los Blancos could become complicated because Gomes had already been linked with Atletico Madrid a few weeks ago, and apparently they were already very close to signing him.

It remains to be seen whether it is true, but what is affirmed is that Mourinho will arrive at Real Madrid with a full list of signings he needs to reinforce the team.

Gomes is not the only one who has been talked about, although some are more credible than others. Supposedly, that list of recommendations also includes Marcus Rashford, a winger for Manchester United who is currently on loan to Barcelona FC.

And according to the news in Japan, they also report that Mourinho would be interested in bringing in Hidemasa Morita, a midfielder from Sporting CP, with whom he maintains a good relationship.

For the moment, the next step is to prepare to say goodbye to Arbeloa and welcome Jose Mourinho, who will have to rebuild a roster currently mired in media chaos.
