Real Madrid prepares to face FC Barcelona in the next Clasico as Kylian Mbappe returns to training after injury doubts.

Real Madrid prepares to travel to the city of Barcelona to face its longtime rival, FC Barcelona, for the next Clasico.

For many days, the club's forward Kylian Mbappe had been in doubt for the Clásico after he was reportedly recovering from an injury he suffered a few matches ago.

And although that was what the fans expected, Mbappe was seen traveling with his current partner in Italy, which sparked criticism of both the player and the club, as everything suggested he was not taking his recovery seriously.

Despite the criticism the 27-year-old forward faces, many others support him. According to GOAL, Barcelona's coach, Hansi Flick, has defended Mbappe by downplaying the rumors and negative comments about him.

"Real Madrid plays better without Mbappe? He is one of the best players in the world," he responded with a sigh of disbelief.

Flick also argued that Mbappe has incredible talent and is a threat in any situation, highlighting that in front of the goal, he is simply the best in the world.

Recently, Kylian Mbappé was also seen training alone, which raised even more doubt about whether he would be available. Additionally, the Frenchman had his MRI scheduled for last Wednesday, but it was changed to Thursday to give him a little more time.

As El Chiringuito journalist Jose Luis Sanchez indicated, after that evaluation, the team would give the green light to see whether he is strong enough to join training with his teammates.

"Today, he did gym and pool work inside the Valdebebas facilities. It is expected that tomorrow, if the MRI comes back positive, he can do a portion with his teammates under Arbeloa's orders," Sanchez said.

Now, everything points to yes. Real Madrid held its last training session before leaving for Barcelona, and Kylian Mbappe was present along with the others.

This has been a relief for the fans, at least a short-term breather, as they hope that Mbappe, at least in that match, will help them add points to slightly offset the disaster of the recent matches.

The tension over who will win the match has increased after the news that he will play for Los Blancos, and although Barcelona has the advantage, we will only know on Sunday whether Real Madrid returns empty-handed.
