Kylian Mbappe's participation in El Clasico remains uncertain after Real Madrid postponed his MRI to Thursday.
Kylian Mbappe's rest days continue to add up, and his participation in the upcoming El Clasico with Real Madrid remains uncertain.
Mbappe has been in the eye of the fans for several days due to a hate campaign against him. This wave of criticism stems from the fact that, after missing the match against RCD Espanyol (2-0), the French player was seen with his current partner, Ester Exposito, in Italy, taking a few days off, which sparked a series of disputes among fans, as he should have been resting.
This caused the hashtag and photos of 'Mbappe out' to be used, in addition to them even starting a campaign for the player to leave the club, with more than 1,500,000 signatures so far.
Despite all this, both Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa and the player's entourage clarified that they are not disappointed in the Frenchman in the slightest.
"The player in his free time does what he considers appropriate, and I cannot intervene in that," the Real Madrid coach argued.
His entourage also came to his defense, arguing that part of the criticism is part of a series of misinterpretations that have nothing to do with the good that the player does for the team day by day.
Due to criticism of his character and rumors of internal fights in the dressing room, Mbappé has been seen training alone amid muscle overload.
Now the question remains: will he be ready to play in El Clasico next Sunday with the white team? To answer this question at least somewhat, the Chiringuito journalist Jose Luis Sanchez reported that Real Madrid postponed the MRI they had scheduled for today until Thursday.
After this study, the team will decide whether or not Kylian Mbappe joins training with the group.
"Today, he did gym and pool work inside the Valdebebas facilities. It is expected that tomorrow, if the MRI comes back positive, he can do a portion with his teammates under Arbeloa's orders," Sanchez said.
The journalist also commented that if Mbappe only does a portion of his training, the chances of the Frenchman being a starter in El Clasico are reduced.
The forward's drama will continue, and, on his part, the player will keep recovering and training so that, if he plays, he can demonstrate what he can do on the field.
