Real Madrid Legend Says Vinicius Jr. Just Needs Time

As you may already know, Vinicius Jr.'s current situation at Real Madrid is far from the one we are used to. With last Wednesday's Champions League match, in which he could not score a goal, he now accumulates nine consecutive matches without being able to score. In some matches, he usually has the intensity that characterizes him, but he simply cannot find a way to score. In others... he looks completely switched off.

Given this, the winger has posted on multiple occasions on his social media different messages that always have the same goal: he will return. Something that has begun to tire both his detractors and his own fans, who see how the matchdays pass, but Vinicius does not return. However, Real Madrid legend Pedja Mijatovic is very clear that the Brazilian will regain his great level and has all his trust in him. Even so, the former footballer noticed something curious: the way Vini left the Bernabeu when the match ended.

"I am missing a little bit more of Vinicius, and I am convinced that he is going to recover it. You have to give him a little time, and you should not pressure him too much. With Diomande, we can have a player who can make the difference, and that does not mean he is better than Vinicius, but in this case he can calmly recover his best way of playing. I believe he should not be in any hurry. You have to wait for him, and surely his best times will come," he said on El Larguero.

In addition, Mijatovic put on the table the names of the two footballers who, for him, had a great performance against RB Leipzig. "Bellingham is doing a huge job, playing frankly well, and is a fundamental player in the team. He transmits a lot of confidence, and Mourinho counts on him a lot because the players admire him. He always gives one hundred percent.

And Courtois is the best goalkeeper in the world. Not only this year, but also years ago. Courtois transmits a lot of confidence, and his saves are as important as the goals or the plays his teammates create. The security he transmits is fundamental for a big team," he concluded.

Now, Real Madrid will face the great task of this first half of the season: beating Barcelona in El Clasico. On this occasion it is not simply a matter of honor, but its aspirations to be able to be LaLiga champion lie in this match. The Culers are currently in first place in the standings, six points behind the Merengues. A victory would bring them to only three points, but a defeat stretches the gap to nine points. This Sunday is win or win.
