Now, according to ESPN, Los Merengues have tabled a new deal worth €22 million per year as they wait for the player to respond.
On the other hand, the recent links between the player and Arsenal have intensified over the past few days, but as per the reports, Vinicius has also made it clear that his intention is to stay at the club, but for the right valuation.
Undoubtedly, the 26-year-old has been a key member of Los Blancos' squad since he joined back in 2018, as he has already scored 128 goals and provided 100 assists since his debut.
Most importantly, Vinicius has already scored in two Champions League finals, helping the Whites lift the trophy for the 14th and 15th time, respectively.
The Brazilian international was also off to a great start in the recently concluded edition of the World Cup, as he scored four goals and provided five assists during the tournament before getting knocked out by Norway in the round of 16 stage.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Vini Jr. is one of the most highly rated players in the sport currently, but Los Blancos has seemingly decided to value the number of goals Mbappe scores, which is significantly higher than the 26-year-old winger.
