Serie A side Roma are eager to sign a Real Madrid forward, whose future the Spanish club has reportedly not yet decided.
Real Madrid await the return of their World Cup stars as they carry on with their preparations for the new campaign under Jose Mourinho.
The Los Blancos manager will need to decide on a number of his first-team players' futures during the upcoming weeks, with the transfer window now wide open.
Following the quickfire additions this summer, the Whites have also made room for further additions with the departures of Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, Dani Ceballos and Fran Garcia.
A few more names will likely get added to the list of departures during the next few weeks, as the Whites plan to add another World Cup star to their squad this summer.
Undoubtedly, other clubs are also taking notice of the recent developments at Los Blancos.
A recent report from Il Messaggero (h/t Madrid Universal) suggests that Italian Serie A side Roma is looking to make a move for Real Madrid forward Endrick in their quest to bolster their attack for the new season.
Roma have already confirmed the permanent transfer of Donyell Malen from Aston Villa and also the contract extension of Argentine forward Paulo Dybala.
Rumors also suggest that the Italian side is currently negotiating with Chelsea for the transfer of Alejandro Garnacho.
If they are able to bring in Garnacho and then go on to pursue Endrick this summer, the chances of the teenager ending up in the dug-out will become more likely.
As for Real Madrid, alongside the Brazilian forward, the Merengues also have another young striker at their disposal in the form of Gonzalo Garcia, and as it seems, Mourinho is yet to decide regarding the center-forward duo.
Garcia has already reported to pre-season training at Valdebebas, while Endrick is expected to arrive on 27th July, alongside Vinicius Junior.
The 19-year-old forward was sent on to Lyon during the second half of the previous campaign, and the Brazilian was quick to settle into the side, as he scored a total of eight goals and provided eight assists for Les Gones.
Endrick failed to get into the starting line-up of the Brazilian national side during the World Cup, and even when Carlo Ancelotti provided him with a rare opportunity during their round of 16 fixture, the teenager missed a crucial one-on-one goal-scoring chance, which cost his side dearly, as they crashed out of the tournament.
Given the current scenario, it will be hard for both Endrick and Garcia to get regular minutes at Los Blancos, as Kylian Mbappe is most likely to start ahead of the young forwards.
It will also be highly unlikely for the club management to go into the new season with two non-starting forwards, and as a result, Mourinho will have a decision to make in the coming weeks as Roma wait for further updates.
