A young defender from the Bundesliga dreams of PSG, but Real Madrid and Chelsea are also interested.

PSG will be active in the transfer window next summer. Karim Coulibaly's profile is particularly appealing to the French capital club.

Paris Saint-Germain will have quite a few projects to address this summer in the transfer market. On defense, the situations of certain players remain unclear, including Lucas Beraldo, Marquinhos, and Lucas Hernandez. So the Parisian club is beginning to move its pieces forward in several matters.

And, as in recent months, the champions of Europe are looking to develop young talent. One player particularly appeals to the Werder Bremen side: Karim Coulibaly.

According to the latest information from Sky Sport, PSG is indeed among the clubs most interested in signing the 18-year-old German player. But the capital club is far from alone in the race.

The same goes for Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Newcastle United and Napoli. The cited media outlet, however, notes that Coulibaly has a preference for his future: he dreams of playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

The problem is that the Parisian defensive sector is currently well-stocked, even if space could be made to accommodate a talent of Karim Coulibaly's caliber.

Note that the native of Oldenburg is still under contract with Werder Bremen until 2029, and his club does not intend to sell him. The German club is asking for nearly 50 million euros to let its player leave. In the past, Luis Enrique has reiterated his wish to see targeted players clearly express their desire to join his team.

The German prodigy is determined to wear the colors of the European champions, a fact that should not go unnoticed by the Spanish coach.

It remains to be seen who will win the race for Karim Coulibaly, who will not lack options to take the next step in his career.
