Paris Saint-Germain right winger Maghnes Akliouche shares his feelings after the Champions League win over Manchester City and looks ahead to facing FC Barcelona.

This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faced Manchester City (2-4) in the Champions League, and although many expected a loss for the Parisian club, the opposite happened.

PSG had a bad start to the season in Ligue 1, which is why the stats pointed to the English team as the winner, as they were on an excellent Premier League run of more than 7 matches without a loss.

But with PSG, you cannot let your guard down. In the 13th minute, Desire Doue opened the scoring, and star forward Ousmane Dembele quickly doubled the lead in the 15th minute.

Parisian fans went wild with chants and taunts at the Man City fans, who quickly lost their spirit after the two goals. PSG kept up the pace throughout the first half, and Vitinha scored in the 32nd minute (who, by the way, was named MVP of the match), followed by Maghnes Akliouche in the 63rd minute of the second half.

Akliouche keeps surprising us, and apparently coach Luis Enrique was right about one thing: the Frenchman would adapt to the team and show his skills in time.

Once again, the young right winger was a starter in Luis Enrique's initial eleven, chosen over Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and he did not disappoint.

Akliouche showed his quality as a player; he was most effective in the second half, where he resisted the pressure Manchester City applied for the rest of the match.

Speaking to CBS Sports Golazo after the match, the 24-year-old Frenchman opened up about his thoughts on the game against one of Europe's giants.

"I am in a group that has received me very well, with a coach who helps me every day. It is truly a team effort, both from the group and the coaching staff. That is why I feel so good now."

The young man also admitted that he does not really know whether they were superior to Man City, but he does know they did very well in the first half, and that in matches like these, their confidence is what keeps them mentally prepared.

"The second half was a little more complicated; the opponent also pressed. In short, we are happy to have won this match, and we will try to improve day by day... It is about enjoying it," he clarified.

Akliouche also spoke about the upcoming UCL match against FC Barcelona, saying the Parisian team is ready to give everything.

"We have another one next week. We know that expectations are high in these kinds of matches. We know it is going to be a great match. They also score a lot of goals. It will be a spectacle, and we will be prepared for it."

Paris Saint-Germain's next Champions League match will be against FC Barcelona on Tuesday, Oct. 20, where we will see if Akliouche starts for the third time with the Parisian side.
