PSG's Achraf Hakimi has returned to training two weeks after suffering a minor right thigh injury. He is available for Morocco's match against Lesotho on Tuesday.

PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi has returned to training two weeks after suffering a "minor injury to his right thigh" in Brest.

The Moroccan right-back then spent several days in treatment at the Campus before training individually in Poissy and withdrawing from the Marseille-PSG match (1-2) on September 20th.

Called up by Morocco for the international break, but suspended for the first match against Gabon, which the Atlas Lions won 2-0 last Friday, Hakimi made his big return to training this Sunday in South Africa, two weeks after his injury.

PSG's Achraf Hakimi Available for Lesotho vs. Morocco

Before that, Hakimi arrived at the national team camp a little later than his teammates on Wednesday, September 23, and did not train with them until then. The Atlas Lions captain will, however, be available this Tuesday to face Lesotho in the second round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Brahim Diaz, who missed the Gabon match because of muscle pain, and Ismaël Saibari, also suspended last Friday, returned to training on Sunday at Ramabodu Stadium in Rocklands, South Africa.

Lesotho and Morocco will meet this Tuesday in Bloemfontein at the Free State Toyota Stadium. Morocco will then play a friendly against Ghana this Sunday, October 4th, in Tangier.

PSG's Alessandro Longoni to Miss 3 Italy U-19 Matches

Elsewhere, PSG received some other injury news. Not that good in this case. Goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni is out with a quadriceps injury and missed Italy U-19's matches during the international break. The Parisian club has not commented on his injury.

Called up to the Italian U19 national team on September 17th to play in a friendly tournament in Croatia during the international break, with three matches scheduled, Longoni was quietly replaced two days later by his coach, Massimiliano Favo.

The Italian Football Federation did not specify the reason for the replacement, stating only on its website that Longoni was unavailable.

According to the website MondoPrimavera, which specializes in young Italians, Longoni is injured, so he did not participate last Friday in Italy U19's 2-1 victory against France U19, which featured Lucas Batbedat, David Boly, and Adam Ayari, who also scored the only French goal.

Other than that, PSG hasn't received any bad injury news during this international break, which is very good news ahead of Champions League games against powerhouses such as Barcelona and Manchester City.

Before that, PSG will host Le Mans at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, Oct. 10, for Ligue 1 matchday 6.
