PSG faces FC Barcelona in the Champions League on Oct. 20, with Barcelona boosted by the return of two key players, according to coach Hansi Flick.
On Oct. 20, Paris Saint-Germain will face FC Barcelona in the Champions League, a match that already has fans very excited.
This week, the Parisian club played an impressive match against Manchester City (2-4), praised by the European press for its high tension and strong performances from both teams.
That is why people are already eagerly awaiting PSG's next UCL commitment, and since it is against an equally strong FC Barcelona, the betting odds must be on fire.
Currently, Barcelona is positioned in first place in the La Liga standings and has a winning streak in its league since the season began with a very high goal average.
Unlike the Spanish club, PSG struggled to add points at the start of Ligue 1, but as we already saw in the match against Manchester City, which also came in with an unbeaten streak of more than 7 matches, sometimes stats are not everything.
But the team led by Luis Enrique must not let its guard down, because Barcelona coach Hansi Flick announced at a press conference before their match against Real Betis that two of his players are back for competition.
In words gathered by AS, when asked if left winger Raphinha will have playing minutes for the upcoming matches, Flick answered yes, and even gave the news that defensive midfielder Frenkie de Jong was also back.
"If you ask him (Raphinha), he will tell you he will be ready to start. I have to take it step by step. He trained well with the group, but you have to manage it. The good news is that he will be available, and De Jong too," Flick assured.
Barca is one of the strongest participants in the Champions League this year, with a squad full of big stars, so this match will undoubtedly be a favorite.
As for PSG, the club does not present any important absences so far other than the injury of Senny Mayulu, the young central midfielder who suffered a left thigh injury while playing for the France under-21 national team, so he will remain out until the end of October.
However, PSG still has to play against Strasbourg on Saturday the 17th before facing Barcelona, so we hope that no player of great importance gets injured, because in matches as big as the one coming up, the help of all the key players will be needed.
